Yingjing Du

Yingjing Du is a Ph.D. student in International Relations at the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University, on MEXT Scholarship. Her research examines the inbound international student mobility to China under the Belt and Road Initiative. It focuses on the decision-making and graduation trajectories of degree students studying in China from countries along the Belt and Road. Using a qualitative empirical research method, her research aims to analyse China, the world’s third-largest study-abroad destination country, in intercontinental socio-economic exchanges.
