Dr. Ramesh Sunam

Dr. Ramesh Sunam is an interdisciplinary researcher and policy expert with a social science background. His research focuses on international migration (both regular and irregular), poverty, food security, and human dimensions of environmental change. Dr. Sunam has published 20+ peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals, including the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, the Journal of Peasant Studies, and the Anthropological Forum. Dr. Sunam earned Ph.D. from the Australian National University (ANU), Australia.
