Firman Budianto

Student Member

Firman Budianto is a Ph.D. student at the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University, and a junior researcher at the Research Center for Area Studies, the Indonesian National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). He received a B.A. from the University of Indonesia and an M.A. from Waseda University. His research interests include international skilled migration, globalization and diversification in contemporary Japanese society, and Indonesia-Japan sociocultural relations. Currently, he works on a PhD research project examining the mobility of Indonesian skilled workers in Japan and South Korea.
