Yuji Mizuno

Visiting Researcher

Yuji Mizuno is a research fellow at the Institute of Developing Economies (IDE-JETRO) and a PhD candidate at the Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies, Kyoto University. His current PhD project seeks to understand the factors that predict variations in political culture and social values among Muslims in Indonesia. His other research interests include Indonesian politics, Muslim social identity and its role in intergroup relations, as well as Muslim intergroup relations in Japan. His methodological approach primarily involves survey data analysis, case studies, and fieldwork.
