Marina Obukhova is a Ph.D. student in International Studies at the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University, and a research assistant at the Waseda Institute of Asian Migrations. Her research explores how international relations and immigration regimes affect mobility outcomes based on the experiences of Russian migrants in Japan and China.
